Description
This training provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive review of Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis (HPS), the most common cause of intestinal obstruction in infancy. The session covers the epidemiology, genetic and environmental risk factors, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, diagnostic findings, fluid and electrolyte management, preoperative stabilization, surgical treatment techniques (open and laparoscopic pyloromyotomy), management of intraoperative complications, and postoperative care.
